On October 11, Hung Yen’ Trung litchi Cooperative was launched at the Cultural House of Binh Nguyen village, Da Loc commune (An Thi). The opening ceremony drew the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.
In 2019, Da Loc commune planned the ineffective rice areas of Binh Nguyen village to convert to grow Trung litchi. With the desire to expand the area of growing Trung litchi, apply science – technology to intensive production and improve products value, on September 22, 2020, Hung Yen’s Trung litchi Cooperative is officially established and operates under the Cooperative Law.
Hung Yen’ s Trung litchi Cooperative has 31 members with the charter capital of 400 million VND. Main occupations are: Propagation and care of perennial plants; cultivation services, post-harvest services; beekeeping and honey production. The cooperative currently has cultivated 20 ha of litchi; of which, there is 3 ha for harvesting. By 2020, the income from Trung litchi will reach over 40 million VND / 0.036 ha./. baohungyen.vn
